Training Log 7th of July 2014

Here is my training info from the 7th of July 2014.

Today I felt really go and my squats went great, I cant say this about my deadlifts. The deadlifts did feel OK but after looking back on the video I could see the problem. I have had some help from my YouTube fitness guys and I will be doing a bit of sumo lifts. I will be getting these on video and looking for errors in my form. I went onto the standing press after this and I really love the standing press. I have build this up to 47.5 kg and cant wait to move up the weights. On my program I go 10% lighter on the bent over row so was using 62.5 Kg, I enjoy getting the lighter weight on the row doing a lot of compound movements on the same day takes it tool. Finished off the day with close grip bench and incline curls. With the incline curls I got to use my new dumbbell handles. These are like a axle bar so it give you are really good forearm pump and will also help bring up my grip strength as well. I will post a picture of me holding one of my dumbbells.

Well over all the training went well I have been cutting weight over the last 4 weeks and I am doing to 93.1 kg. So far its a 2 kg drop in four weeks, it could have been better but I haven't fully started my diet to drop weight so I am glad that I have losing weight at this level. With my training for today I felt good on the squats and that is always my problem area in my training. On the barbell shrugs I could feel the weight coming out of my hands so my grip strength must be down from my lack of deadlifts and shrugs. I will maintain a good level of these exercises and that should bring my strength back up.

The only thing I failed on today was my last rep of the day. My arms were just done by the time I got to the extra arm work. I am not to fussed about failing this last rep my biceps still got a really good workout.
